Description

General Summary:

The Repair Management Coordinator is part of the Customer Service organization's Inventory Management team, which supports the HondaJet world-wide customer base, the HondaJet global service network, and the HACI Service Center operations. This person will be responsible for leading the team managing the repair inventory strategy, driving the returned goods process, and executing full recovery of warranty expenses with each supplier.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage the rotable inventory strategy to optimum inventory levels in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Collect and analyze historical component usage data, data of upcoming maintenance inspections or removal periods, fleet size and growth, aircraft usage, component reliability, and other data points to determine the appropriate quantities of rotable inventory.

2. Maintain the repair component business. Execute purchase orders and return to vendor transactions in a timely manner. Debit supplier for all applicable expenses per agreements.

3. Drive efficiency through measuring and monitoring supplier performance to existing agreements, such as inventory cost, turnaround time, component reliability, and warranty reimbursement.

4. Proactively identify and propose actions to manage inventory performance . Engage and collaborate with Technical Support, Supply Chain Management, or Quality teams to drive countermeasures for any underperforming material or supplier challenges.

5. Develop the repair component business. Investigate opportunities that expand our product offering.

6. Manage the returned goods process with the various groups involved. Drive accurate and prompt return of rotable parts to serviceable condition.

7. Maintain strong internal cross functional communications and relationships.

8. Participate in and ensure daily team scheduling for (24/7) On-Call support coverage.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as Supply Chain or Business Administration; 5-7 years experience in related technical field in lieu of a degree.

2. 3+ years experience in Supply Chain Management, or related operations.

3. Experience in aftermarket customer service preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

2. Experience in SAP strongly preferred.

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

4. Strong detail oriented skills.

5. Good project management skills.

6. Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.

7. Ability to work as scheduled, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as demand requires.

8. Ability to travel as required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.

7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.

8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
