Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Lead the completion of accounting activities related to Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting.
  • Maintain the fixed asset system for additions, disposals, and depreciation; prepare various journal entries and reconciliations monthly.
  • Manage the capital project portfolio and work cross-functionally with project managers and other stakeholders to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with internal policies regarding capital project management and accounting.
  • Perform detailed analysis of fixed asset and capital projects and provide reporting to various stakeholders monthly.
  • Critically assess issues in the fixed asset and capital project process to identify and address issues via education, process changes, and other methods.
  • Ensure that all final work product is timely and GAAP compliant.
  • Ensure that all necessary reports and filings comply with Sarbanes Oxley and SEC regulations.
  • Use GAAP to prepare and manage the timely completion of all relevant reports and disclosures required by the SEC and management. These reports include SEC compliance filings and documents for internal and external reporting.
  • Assist management in making informed decisions by reviewing, analyzing, and explaining financial reports.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating with the necessary internal departments to complete accounting objectives and other company goals.
  • Assist in leading the close reporting process ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 4 years of related experience or training.
  • CPA license is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • ERP systems experience; Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 preferred.
