| This position requires a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registered cardiac sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Performs various cardiac ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the chief technical sonographer. Delivers excellent customer service utilizing Relationship Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients/families and colleagues, including all internal and external customers. | Performs 2D/Doppler echocardiograms, TEE's, and stress echocardiograms completely with good diagnostic quality in a timely manner. -------------------------------------------------- Analyzes test data and accurately communicates findings to reading cardiologists in oral and written form. -------------------------------------------------- Operates, troubleshoots, and appropriately requests repair of all testing equipment in a safe, appropriate, and knowledgeable manner. -------------------------------------------------- Maintains skills in all current procedures performed.
