This position is responsible for supporting CHMG physician related activities such as month end close, budgeting, productivity reporting, compensation and payroll processing, managerial finance needs, and benefit enrollment support. |
Talent Pool: Corporate Services/Professional
Completes reconciliations for physician related activities and provide support for other non-physician financial tasks as needed. -------------------------------------------------- Completes routine/monthly tasks as assigned for accurate financial decision making, including but not limited to traditional financial analysis and variance analysis. Completes special projects as it relates to the analysis of changes in physician compensation issues and work directly with physicians, Directors, and other Senior Leaders to resolve issues. Responsible for the administration of select physician CME activities and license renewals. -------------------------------------------------- Participate in annual budget process by supporting divisional leaders and other finance personnel by preparing summaries and schedules as needed. -------------------------------------------------- Responsible for the administration of select CHMG physician compensation activities to include compensation plan updates, bi-annual physician bonus payout processing, productivity reporting (including charge posting edit and review) and benefit enrollment oversight. Work directly with select physicians, Directors, CFO, and other CHMG Senior Leadership regarding physician issues. Maintains advance knowledge of the financial computer systems and serves as a resource to others (Hospital/Division leadership and Accountants) in their understanding of physician transaction processing and reporting. -------------------------------------------------- Supports monthly financial close process by preparing supporting schedules and documentation. Assist in reviewing and analyzing actual to budget variances such that accurate financial statements can be prepared. -------------------------------------------------- |
EDUCATION: |
Required: HS degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 15 credit hours in accounting or closely related coursework at an accredited institution Preferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field |
EXPERIENCE: |
Required: Minimum 4 years? experience in directly related role. Candidates with preferred education (Bachelors degree or higher in related field). Preferred: Experience in hospital/healthcare industry |
