Sr. Sourcing Specialist

With direction and collaboration, as needed, from the hiring manager, Indirect Procurement team, and/or internal customers and resources - you will be relied upon to plan, manage, and coordinate multiple Indirect category sourcing projects from needs identification though to selection and contracting. Categories of focus may span the scope of Indirect (marketing, facilities, consulting, etc.); however, IT software, IT consulting, and IT hardware are of specific need and are expected to be an on-going category for this role to actively support.

You will also be engaged in team-wide initiatives, including policy and process development, communication of best practices to internal customers, and stakeholder relationship-building and support.

The indirect team oversees various enterprise-wide tools and systems (Coupa P2P, Contract Management, etc.); you will be part of on-going efforts to drive adoption, train, optimize, and manage new functionality and/or process improvements as needed.

You will create and maintain value via internal stakeholder collaboration, supply base optimization and leverage - employing competitive sourcing skills, negotiation capabilities, and effective controls/ measurements with the goal of achieving maximum total value for Kontoor Brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Kontoor Brands' business stakeholders and Indirect leadership to help provide strategic direction to subject matter experts (SMEs), while aligning the Indirect Procurement activities within Kontoor Brands to recognized procurement best practices. Indirect Procurement relies on strong internal relationships to drive results - this role will need to be able to build internal engagement and establish 1:1 partnerships with key internal customers and stakeholder teams.
  • Compile, analyze, and effectively communicate data; be able to socialize status of processes, opportunities, and challenges. Present data in a manner that facilitates accurate conclusions and appropriate decisions concerning a category, strategy, or sourcing process. Leverage existing process templates or other communication tools to track results, inform leadership on progress, articulate outcomes, or to help drive more efficient and effective sourcing efforts.
  • With periodic direction from Indirect leadership, drive sourcing processes that result in the selection of suppliers meeting all of Kontoor Brands' requirements as determined by key stakeholders. Collaborate internally to analyze, review, and finalize sourcing decisions based on RFx process outcomes; partner with stakeholders (Legal, IT, business leads, etc.) as needed to negotiate national / regional / global agreements.
  • Learn and then help support Indirect Procurement-based enterprise tools, including Coupa, DocuSign, and Agiloft (our newly selected "CMS", or contract management system). Be a conduit to connect subject matter experts with areas of need; over time, become a resource that can help educate, drive compliance, and manage simple ad hoc questions or issues.
  • Serve as liaison between Kontoor Brands' Legal and suppliers to help facilitate the contracting process, protect the best interests of Kontoor Brands, and ensure successful and timely contract completion.
  • Perform other duties, as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors - required; MBA - "nice to have," but experience more valued (especially IT software)
  • 3+ years experience as Sourcing Specialist / Senior Sourcing Specialist.
  • 3+ years experience as Indirect Procurement Specialist/Analyst
  • Experience with Coupa or similar P2P solutions (ex. SAP Ariba), Contract Management Systems, or Spanish Fluency - nice to have
