Overview

This Position will proactively partner with Cone Health leaders to assess, design, implement & evaluate significant organizational effectiveness solutions to support key business objectives and goals across the system including but not limited to advanced change management and professional coaching for executive leaders / teams to optimize performance.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic leadership by planning, coaching, offering facilitation and consultation services to teams and leaders in designing and implementing strategies for solving complex organizational or Human Resource challenges, using Organizational Development methods, procedures, and tools to implement solutions. Continuously improving strategies, structures, and systems for the organization. Acts as a coach and `shadow consultant? to leaders and managers at all levels in the organization to build skills and capacity in the organization to lead effectively. Contracts with clients and creates OD Agreements that outline project goals, scope of work, deliverables, timeline and evaluation methods.

Proactively leads efforts around building and maintaining a change ready organization. Provides consultation and expertise on large-scale, highly complex change initiatives to align people systems to the strategic goals and initiatives of the organization. Uses organization design methodologies when consulting leaders to assess strategy, processes, structures, management practices, people and job impacts of organizational changes. Ensures a focus on change execution risks and creates appropriate risk mitigation plans for the assigned effort.

Demonstrates a strong understanding and has a solid level of experience with a variety of personality assessments including 360 assessments.

Actively manages and continually improves the Cone Health Coaching initiative. Manages efforts related to coach certification, coach education and coach /client matching. Demonstrates a ROI for the coaching effort.

Consistently contracts with clients and follows through with customers to ensure satisfaction with deliverables measured through appropriate ROI / ROE.

Provides exceptional customer service skills both to internal and external customers, individually and as part of the organizational development team, by phone, electronically and in person. Role models iCARE and the Cone Health culture.

Keeps up to date on the latest organization development and change models, approaches, strategies and tools. Acts as mentor and coach to new and less senior People Performance team members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Curriculum Design, Organizational Development, Leadership Studies, Human Resources or other relevant fields
Preferred:
Master's degree in Business, Education, Curriculum Design, Organizational Development, Counseling, Leadership Studies, Human Resources or other relevant fields

EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
Minimum 5 years experience in organizational development and/or learning/development
5 years experience in performance improvement and/or coaching leaders
5 years experience in facilitating a variety of leadership development and/or performance improvement programs.
5 years experience in leading and partnering with all aspects around change management.
PREFERRED:
Experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Experience performance consulting for C-suite audiences preferred.
Experience with 360 assessments.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED:
Certification in tools commonly used by an OE practitioner such as DiSC, FiroB, Insights profile, SDI, etc.
PREFERRED:
Certified Coaching certification
Change Management Certification
