The Department of Business Information Systems & Analytics invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for spring 2024 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach business information systems & analytics courses.

The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Business Information Systems & Analytics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

This is a temporary position.

The Department of Business Information Systems & Analytics prepares business information systems/technology professionals for the ever-changing needs of the market. Our program builds students' business knowledge and enhances their skills in technology, communication, critical thinking, leadership, ethics, and team building. Graduates are prepared for careers in business, industry, government, and other organizations.

Candidates must have a Master's degree or PhD in Information Systems, Analytics, or a closely related discipline at the time of application.

The preferred candidates will have expertise in the various aspects of teaching business information systems & analytics courses at the undergraduate level, and academic and/or professional experience, and qualifications appropriate for an appointment to the faculty at the applicable level.
