Mission - Provide hands on, leading, support the customer centers within the Oil-free Air and Industrial Air Divisions of Atlas Copco in the execution of defined technical and commercial customer orders for engineered compressed air systems used within the oil & gas and petrochemical industry as well as other industries.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Interacts & cooperates with end customers, Atlas Copco customer centers, other regional application groups, the Engineered Solution entities and various qualified vendors.

Responsible for monitoring the complete bid submission process of projects that are assigned.

Produce and record competitively priced, profitable, quotations to Customer Center and/or Application Engineers for engineered skid packaged equipment.

Read and understand customer specifications and assess compliance or exception for Atlas Copco product.

Efficiently and timely support the sales activity of the customer center and/or Application Engineers by converting quotations into orders for production within the product company.

In conjunction with Application Engineers and customer center, ensure best technical solution is offered to the customer based upon their needs.

Formally quote sub-supplied equipment with a value of more than 10% of the bid value to customer Center, record in project file and ensure that it reflects all relevant technical and commercial terms of the end user inquiry.

Maintain a consolidated profitability mindset and interact frequently with the other Engineered Solutions entities worldwide to streamline the different scopes of supply in order to maximize the consolidated gross profit for each project.

In conjunction with OSHA law and/or requirements, apply the SafeStart safety training process when performing all work in order to reinforce practical safety training techniques, maintain awareness and prevent injury.

Follow the Atlas Copco "Safety First" policy with the vision of zero work related accidents. Take all necessary actions to employ sustainable processes to safeguard the company's targets for Quality/Environment/Safety, Health and Energy/Resource Efficiency.

Perform additional duties as assigned and other duties as required.

Qualifications -

Experience - Broad engineering experience and some contact with industrial customers would be advantageous. Knowledge of the oil and gas business is also an advantage. On the job training will be provided


Knowledge - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Must be able to read pneumatic/hydraulic flow diagrams and general arrangement drawings. AutoCad experience is a plus.

Education - Bachelor's degree in suitable engineering discipline or a minimum of 5 years of experience in applications for rotating equipment.

Skills - Must be an independent self-starter, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Must be able to read pneumatic/hydraulic flow diagrams and general arrangement drawings. AutoCad experience is a plus.
