Personnel Security Administrator

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, a lawful resident alien, or a citizen of American Samoa or another territory owing permanent allegiance to the United States.

Subject Matter Expert in badging and credentialing access control management systems. Manages a team of badging and credentialing technicians.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Personnel Security Administrator:
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Personnel Security Administrator Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervises a team of badging and credentialing technicians.
  • Manage access of subcontractors/vendors/visitors assigned to the site.
  • Proficient in Access Control Management Systems i.e., Lenel OnGuard.
  • Manages badging application(s), ensures all information is accurate and completed.
  • Ensure all applicable information is entered into badging profiles.
  • Provides direction for additional collection of information in instances where insufficient information was provided.
  • Reviews badging request and reports for authenticity prepare reports and recommendations whether campus access should be granted, suspended, revoked, or denied.
  • Documents processes and ensures the protection of sensitive information. Ensures compliance amongst badging applications.
  • Performs timecard fraud investigations, compiling data to confirm that no suspicious activity is present.
  • Maintains BOLO list to ensure debarred employees are not accidentally re-badged.
  • Supports Security Program Director and Deputy Security Director strategies as directed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Personnel Security Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities requested:

  • 5 + years of managing access control management systems, preferably supporting Federal or US Military; bachelor's degree desired.
  • Skilled in managing security-related infrastructure and applications.
  • Proficient in Lenel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust Background Investigation.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
