Job Description

  • The Program Manager/ PM Relief #2 will have general oversite of the Case Management Department, and departments or teams created under the case management division. The Program Manager/PM Relief #2 will also directly report to the Program Director of this division.
  • The Program Manager/ PM Relief #2 will collaborate closely with the Program Director to report all resource allocations needs, in adherence with contractual requirements.
  • The Program Manager/ PM Relief #2 is responsible for the general oversight and operational performance of the Case Management Department in an on-site children's residential facility. This position is responsible for ensuring contractual requirements and client expectations are met at the on-site residential facility. Acts as primary contact to the client during on-site events.
  • All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validates and approves timesheets for all direct reports.
  • Ensure all timesheets are approved throughout the department in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all contract policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensures all case management assessments are completed according to ORR policy.
  • Ensures the case management department are adhering to the safe and timely release of the children in care.
  • Ensures that children with higher needs are transferred to an appropriate placement in a timely manner.
  • Ensures quality care for all residents and timely response to children needs.
  • Supervises the Case Management Supervisor and has general oversite of the entire case management, discharge and reunification team, and any other teams developed under the case management division.
  • Responsible for team building, coaching, staff appraisals, performance measures, and training on policy updates.
  • Ensures all case management databases are updated according to contract policy and procedures.
  • Ensures quality care and provision of services for all children with prompt response.
  • Ensures quality communication with all potential sponsors and family members.
  • Provides daily reports or any reports needed to ORR.
  • Attends all required meetings internal and external.
  • Oversees the supervision and compliance in training of all staffunder their division.
  • Ensures all databases are maintained and include quality data.
  • Performs audits and provides recommendations to meet compliance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a social service or related field with 5 years or more experience in fields that demonstrate supervisory and case management expertise., working with vulnerable youth and their families.
  • CPR certification, preferred - while we accept applicants without, all employees in service of this contract require CPR certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Read, Write, Speak)
  • 5 years or more of case management experience with childrenor adolescents.
  • 5 years or more of Operations experience.
  • Demonstrated experience training and leading others and adapting to diverse situations.
  • Possess good verbal and writing skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer, common office equipment, and MS Office products.
  • Clean criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CA/N) or child protective services check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must have the ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, bend, balance and twist for extended periods.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
  • Able to withstand changing environmental conditions with the weather (rain, lightning, and winds).
  • Must be able to safely maneuver throughout the job site (sports field, construction areas, etc).
