About the Role
AsaSenior Software Engineer, youwill:
Build and maintain high-performing, front-end big data visualizations and analytics
Engage the TRSS analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation
Demo new software solutions as needed
Learn and expand your skill set on the job
Work with a variety of technologies, anchoring a small team across a complex network
About You
You're a fit for the role ofSenior Software Engineerif youare/have:
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience
US Citizen able to acquire and maintain a Security Clearance
2+ years experience in Java, Javascript, Groovy and Grails
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Strong familiarity with React, Vue.js, D3, Bootstrap, and other similar sites and tools
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Big Data analytics, especially with ETL and data wrangling
Experience with Information retrieval technologies such as Solr, Lucene and/or ElasticSearch
Experience with Redis, Snowflake and Unix/Linux

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: KS, MI, MN, NY, VA.The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $82,900 - $154,000. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
