Position Overview | Potential openings for seminar leaders in chemistry, English, math, sociology, theology, in EOP’s Student Support Services summer program, July 8th – August 9th. |
Duties and Responsibilities | Seminar leaders positions involve assisting entering Marquette University freshmen develop college level study skills with the context of one of the following courses: chemistry, English, math , sociology, theology. Seminar leaders observe the university class, conduct academic seminars around subject area, hold office hours, and lead occasional small group tutorials. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Bachelor’s degree or be pursuing an undergraduate degree and experience working with students in your respective discipline. Related experience with students or community groups that address issues affecting low-income and minority populations. Ability to teach in a virtual, in-person and/or hybrid mode. |
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Master’s Degree preferred. |
